I'm planning to build a putting platform to practice putting indoors, thinking of framing it with something like 195x45.

Besides trying to choose straight and nice beams from the lumberyard, are there any tips to ensure it stays straight or becomes straight? Does it work to lay, for example, concrete foundations in areas where it might warp, like corners?

I'm considering a size of about 2x5 meters.

For indoor use, of course, so no pressure-treated beams.

What should the platform look like, how do you envision the construction? 195x45 sounds pretty rough?

A frame around then something like 95x45 studs at the bottom and maybe 40cc between them. On those, floor chipboard and on top of that industrial foam tiles perhaps 1.5 inches thick
