How to build a ramp
It will probably be fine regardless, it doesn't look particularly exposed (if you look at the posts under the "trappen" it seems they've already withstood a few years without any special protection under them). It won't be that remarkable to reach that standard on a ramp either, or should the trappen also be made new or replaced?
How do you easily measure to get the angle needed for the support beam so it fits well both to the ground and the decking?Spikbjörn said:
It looks like it's already "paved" (if the ramp is to follow the house wall?).
But if there's often water standing there (it shouldn't be that way right next to the house wall for the house's sake), you can raise it with a stone slab/leca block, so that the wood doesn't become damp against the ground as often.
If you want to hide the "construction" for aesthetic reasons, you can clad the side (similar to the existing stair landing) with decking on the side as well (so you avoid getting all the leaves and cones in there, but it's harder to clean if something gets in).
But of course, it's a compromise between valuing function versus appearance, and how much time and cost you want to invest in the project (simple solution based on existing conditions or specific design requirements).
And the first decking board you lay, how should you think about it so there's no edge to trip on?
Just lay it even with the deck and then sand it or another method?
Thanks in advance
Use a bevel square e.g.

Set up the first rule as you want it, then you can use the bevel square to set the angle you get and lock it to use as a template.
You can probably make a flush finish against the upper edge of the stairs in several ways, for example by placing the rule under the current edge so that it comes up high enough with the decking on top. If the decking then has the same thickness as the stairs, it will likely be at a suitable height. If needed, you can sand/plane to achieve an even better fit in the transition.

You can do it in several ways to get a flat finish against the upper edge of the stairs, for example, place the board under the edge that is there today so that it reaches just the right height with the deck on top. If the deck then has the same thickness as the stairs, it will be at a suitable height. If needed, you can sand/plane for an even better fit at the transition.
Should I use a joist hanger or just screw everything in with 5x90 screws?

It does look a bit empty under the side of the stairs, no post. The most important thing is probably to support underneath it, or under the ramp next to it. The beam bracket is hanging in the stairs, but you could just as well support under the ramp, rather than relying on it to put weight on the side of the stairs.

Skipping the joist hanger and supporting with a post instead.
Does anyone know if this is good to use?
