Follow-up question in the same topic.

I want to install sliding wardrobe doors (of the Elfa type) in an opening - about 1.5 m wide - between two lightweight concrete walls. A beam (support) is required to hang the upper glide rail. How would you attach the beam/support between the walls? It cannot be attached to the ceiling.

I am somewhat of a theoretician, and my solutions therefore become extremely complex. Angle brackets, joist hanger? Supports from the floor to provide reinforcement?

Two angle irons, one for vertical support, one for horizontal support, on each side of the joist in the ceiling. The vertical one doesn't need to be very strong, but the horizontal one should absorb some twisting force, so a stronger one makes sense.
