How to attach a fence to the "middle" of a post
Hello!
I'm planning to set up a fence and want the sections "between" the posts and not on top. How to do this? I've seen so-called fence brackets, but they don't seem sufficient for a long fence. Routing the posts so that the supporting rails are inserted there would be something, but there are quite a few posts, and it would have to be done twice as well - unfortunately, I don't have much time. Is there any clever way to speed up the process?

Thanks for the inspiration. I will build a plank and fence now in the spring, have a thread on the subject but here I found exactly what I was looking for.MathiasS said:

I built a similar fence, but instead of skew driving, I used slightly longer screws and screwed through the entire width of the board from the short side. The spacing between the slats is somewhat tighter and the screw holes are almost invisible.
What dimensions do you have for your fence?JanneJanne123 said:

Do you have time/desire to give your thoughts on my thread? That way I won't hijack this thread with my questions

Am I correct in understanding that you screwed the horizontal boards at an angle into the post, but also angled the innermost slat towards the post?
The slats are screwed into the horizontal board? One screw per slat or two on the wide one, one on the narrow one?
