Hi, I need to loosen and remove two to three of the posts in my loft stairs in order to get two bed frames up. Maybe the wrong forum section(?), but it's a bit of construction or design for my loft stairs :)

The steps go into the wall on one side and hang on posts/pipes on the other side (see picture). Under the steps, you can unscrew a "plopp" that threads into a post inside the pipe (see picture), but then I get stuck and don't know how to proceed. Does anyone know how these kinds of stairs are assembled and how to unscrew the posts?

Side view of the stairs:

Steps viewed from below:

The post is simply to lift straight up once you've unscrewed the "ploppen".

The post should just lift straight up once you've unscrewed the "cap"
I haven't managed to pull out the post inside the tube. I don't know if it's threaded at the top somehow. It can't be lifted up since it's attached up there in some way. Or did I misunderstand you?

Isn't it possible to twist/unscrew the short piece between the steps?

That part is also just a hollow pipe that the pole itself runs through. You can wiggle it a bit just like the upper longer pipe, but it cannot be unscrewed.

I think you have to start by removing the bottom step. It seems logical to do it in reverse order.
