I can promise that they don't buy 60% cheaper than the consumer. Such margins do not exist on building materials. Possibly if they buy directly from the manufacturer but not if they shop at Beijer.
 
They are ugly with their different price lists. I also don't believe they're dealing 60% below consumer price. The best thing is to have something to "threaten" with. I've started checking now and the contact I have at the local building supply store I thought was really good. Got a price on single-lap roof tiles from Vittinge. 10.67 SEK/piece + VAT. Called Beijer and got a lower price of 10.50 SEK even though I've never shopped there. Their offer was something around 11 SEK/piece. Next week I will call the other building suppliers to see what they can offer. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that you get a price on the same thing, otherwise it’s pointless. Would be fun if someone knows what the lowest level is.
