We will soon be pouring a new floor in the basement, and I thought I would take the opportunity to pour the footings for the new deck at the same time, so I don't have to pay a fee for any leftover concrete from the basement floor.

To ensure the footings turn out well, I'm planning to rent an earth drill and set down casting tubes in the holes and backfill around the tubes. My question is how long the tubes will last in the ground without being filled with concrete. I want to be able to prepare for the footings some time before we pour the floor, if possible.

Does anyone know?

A couple of months outdoors, the most important thing is the pipe above ground so that the plinth doesn't look like cat poop

Buy the cheapest drainage pipes in a suitable dimension instead.

That could be an idea.
