How do you actually do with plastic in the wall?
We are renovating the first floor of our wooden house from 1928.
Here, there are concrete walls.
The back wall is 90 cm buried, the rest is above ground.
Here, everyone says different things depending on when they were trained.
Should we have plastic in the wall or just insulation?!

Either paint directly on the concrete or plaster and paint with silicate paint. Do not enclose the wall with anything; it needs to be able to breathe. Moisture will always be absorbed into the concrete. Probably only asphalt coating on the outside, which usually wears off a bit over the years.
