Purchased a condominium from the 60s and just ripped up a double layer of plastic flooring in the hall/corridor. The bottom layer was glued directly onto the concrete. Glue residues and what I assume is coconut fiber are stuck. How do I best remove everything? It's about 10m2.
Had the same issue but with chipboard, sat with a Morakniv and scraped it off, it can to some extent be done with a bark spade. Sanding with a machine is not good, it will dust heavily throughout the apartment. Just embrace the situation and get to work.
Have already redone the flooring in the kitchen and bedroom with the same underlay and then I used a morakniv. However, I hadn't moved in yet so I was wondering if there was a faster/more efficient way.
