I'm going to build a kind of gazebo, i.e., a hexagonal building. From each corner, a wooden beam will go towards the top. The question is how to make the fastening at the top in a good way?

I've seen that there have been 6-armed "beam shoes," but these seem to be very difficult to find, and I would preferably like to make it in wood, or at least not make the metal so visible.

Does anyone have an idea on how to do this in a smart and stylish way?

If the construction turns out ugly, you carve a compass rose and put it on the ceiling :)
