I laid the slabs under the garbage bins some time ago. Unfortunately, there's now a gap between the asphalt and the slab. The slab is also somewhat higher than the road, about 5 cm (the road slopes but the slabs are level). I got the tip to fill it with fine concrete but never did it.

Does anyone have any tips so that it turns out well or should I just apply it without any real preparation?

I would use patch asphalt. It's significantly more durable in such thin layers and you can spread it over existing asphalt for a smoother transition. If it cracks or sinks, you can simply add more or tamp it again.

Thanks. I see that Jula has repair asphalt, might try it first along with asphalt adhesive. Thanks for the help!
