The first time I put up drywall, and the question arises, should I leave misaligned screws in place? What is best for the final result after spackling, etc.?
I got the technique after a while, but I must admit that the first sheet looks too shabby, like a Swiss cheese.

There should be no difference.
I've also done my fair share of mistakes that have been unscrewed and patched up. No, I'm not a carpenter. (Because the day they taught carpentry in school, I was sick) - NOTE irony :wow:

You don't even need to remove the screws.
There's probably not a house in the world that doesn't have a drywall screw that has gone in a little too deep.

If I drive one too deep, I leave it and drive a new one a few centimeters next to it.
Those that miss completely I try to remove, but I don't spend much time trying, especially if it's in the board's bevel which will be filled over. But on a smooth board surface, I'm a bit worried that the screw might cause problems later if it hasn't secured to something behind and isn't properly fixed.
