Hello!

I'm planning to fill in a 1.4m deep and 2m wide trench in the barn; the floor is concrete.

I was thinking of standing studs that rest on the bottom of the trench, one on each side and then one in the middle. Then standing 45x195 straight across the 2m length, so to speak, with 60cm center-to-center spacing. Then a 45mm thick plank floor on top. Is that dimension sufficient to drive a car on? Is it over-engineered or insufficient?

Best regards, Daniel

What is it, a gödselränna?
How is it with moisture and drainage?

My first thought would probably be to fill it with macadam and then pour concrete over it.
The rest of the floor is concrete, right?

That thought has crossed my mind but unfortunately, it becomes too expensive, I have the opportunity to get wood cheaply, moisture is no problem, it has been a hay barn, as for what the gutter has been used for, I don't know exactly.
