Note, the thread must not be read aloud for Alma in Tullinge!

Far too close on the weekends, a clause appeared on my niece's wish list that warmed the hobby carpenter's heart - "A wardrobe for Skrållan" (Skrållan = doll that makes sounds, about 50 cm tall, I had to ask too)

So to the point, there's no time for the usual material search, the saw must meet the panels.

How, dear colleagues, do we solve:

- Unbreakable mirror?
- Mini-lighting, battery-operated?
- Clothes rod on the other axis, i.e., with the princess dress's back against the wardrobe's back?

Polished steel is commonly used in survival kits as a mirror because it is practically indestructible.

For lighting, I would use a couple of white LEDs, such as 36-1683 from Clas Ohlson. Connect them in series together with a 120-130 ohm resistor to make it suitable for a 9-volt battery. As a switch, I would use a 36-2304 so the lighting turns on when the closet opens.

I think that 31-3296-4 or 31-3296-5 look like they could be adapted to become excellent clothing rods.

There are small ready-made round "spots" with LEDs and a battery. Just press them and they light up. I think they are available at Clas Ohlson and other hardware stores.

Regards, Putte

Hi!

You can solve the clothing rod in the other direction with a suspension at the front edge, right?
Also, check out the small battery-powered light chains that are usually available now for Christmas at places like IKEA or DUKA.

What a WONDERFUL uncle Alma seems to have! Such a person to add to my children's wish list.

Do they also have them by article number at Clas Ohlson?

There we go, with hours to spare the build is complete. The schedule and budget have stopped both the mirror and lighting, but I'm quite satisfied anyway.

Hmmm... woes, too, how do you rhyme with garderob?

Nice cabinet! Regarding the rhyme, Förvaring -raring? Hope she will be happy! Merry Christmas!
