Hello,

Can you help me determine what type of roofing material this is? The real estate agent doesn't know when it was installed either, does it look period-typical? Good/bad? Asbestos?

Regards, Jacob

  • Old, weathered roof with corrugated panels, showing signs of aging. Greenery in the background, shadow overlay on the roof surface.
Sheet metal, slightly dented.

Completely ordinary roofing sheet.

A warm welcome to the byggahus forum @jacob_solhatt

See "dents" in the sheet according to my yellow arrows:

Corrugated metal roof with yellow arrows highlighting visible dents on the surface. [/USER]

Could be Decra roof tiles.

Thanks a lot for the answers, guys!
I became a bit unsure because of the surface texture which isn't glossy but more slate-like.

Take care!

Seems to be correct that it is the icopal decra system.

Rickard.
It is notoriously fragile, and I think it's the snow from the steep roof that has cracked the metal, and if that's the case, then the roof is essentially worn out as it can only get worse and worse.

The steep roof has better conditions, but it's hardly new, so to speak.
