Help with drawing for a curved 180 degree staircase..
Hello.
I wonder if there's anyone here on the forum who has tips on where to get help with making a staircase drawing? We have too high a height between the floor joists in relation to the length to be able to make straight steps with a landing halfway. We need a staircase that turns 180 degrees with steps all the way and underlying stringers. I don't think I would succeed in figuring this out myself, so I want to purchase this service. Most "staircase manufacturers" I've contacted only want to sell both the drawing and the staircase! I would gratefully accept any tips.

Don't know about the load-bearing but you can calculate the number of steps with this:
The golden measure is 63 cm and should be the sum of two step heights + one depth.
Example: 19 cm + 19 cm + 25 cm = 63 cm

Hello!
I am doing the same thing myself. I know that http://www.trappteknik.com/ can create drawings. Through an acquaintance, I have been in contact with a consultant who could also do drawings, but I haven't received any results yet, so it's difficult to recommend.

Hello.
I just talked to a guy at trappteknik and they seemed very knowledgeable. In my case, he thought they could deliver 1:1 scale drawings of steps and vangrar for about 2000 including VAT. Sounds great to me. I would also get a proposal to look at first.

Trap technique designed my new staircase. I had a lot of different requirements that I wanted included in the design. I first received a proposal that I had comments on, and the third proposal was perfect for me. Then he also manufactured it, and it took 4 weeks after the design was approved for the staircase to arrive in kit form. I thought it worked excellently with Trap technique. The assembly of the staircase was done without any craftsman involved. Pictures of the assembly are available at www.jogarsrud.se 2010 April-June and then under staircase.
