Help with choosing wood glue

It will probably be good, we primarily use products from [link], but there are a plethora of other manufacturers with the same type of range that surely don't need to be imported.

I'm just a happy amateur who is going to try my hand at the beauty of woodworking after having worked with tiling for about 20 years and focused on private customers with deep pockets and natural stone, I think it will be a nice contrast.

Yes, I would probably have preferred your suggestion, we use epoxy when it comes to oak and mahogany. Oak that is exposed to moisture, we pre-treat with lignu, a type of epoxy that penetrates much deeper into the wood, and then glue with epoxy.

My thought was that the PU glue fills out much better so the fit doesn't have to be so precise.
But, it turns out the chairs are still holding, so white glue obviously works too.

I'm really eager for a planer, a small one like the Dewalt DW733 or similar. Do you have any experience with one of those?

No, unfortunately not, we have a larger jointer and planer.

But the one you're looking at, I'd like to have it too 😀.

There are probably some here who have experience with it.

Dewalten is still the first choice for many DIY enthusiasts, so it's risk-free to choose. If you have the budget and desire, you can later upgrade with a spiral cutter that provides a clear improvement over regular steel. Not free exactly, but you do have a birthday too, right?
