The idea was that it would look nice without, but in practice, the craftsmanship failed.
As of now, I'm primarily interested in a horizontal rectangular profile like 10x30 or similar. However, it should preferably be rough sawn. Haven't found anything really good.

quarter round (28x28???) looks quite good on that kind of panel it disappears nicely...

Looks stunning with or without ceiling molding!dadid said:
And since you don't have any baseboard, it might be well-balanced without a ceiling molding?
But if there should be a molding, I like a simple regular shadow molding best:

PS
Don't many in the house have a hard time reaching the microwave
Yes, we are pleased with the appearance in general, but in some places the gap became irregular and too wide. Something must be done. The molding that needs to be there should add something. It must not look like something that is meant to hide, hence my thought on the "rätblocket" possibly even a larger dimension concave molding could work. I don't believe in quarter-round in this context, and I haven't developed a feeling for shadow moldings. I think I've seen them in too many rental apartments.
Hmm, still undecided.
As for the microwave, the observation is correct. The kitchen staff should have stilts. The entire kitchen is a makeshift solution based on almost stripped-down parts. One fine day it will be a real kitchen in the cabin.

A local carpentry or sawmill can cut a discreet list according to agreement.....
