I am going to start my own business and begin making outdoor furniture :). I've bought tools and screws for several thousand kroner but there's a missing screw that I can't find! It's a screw that I need to screw into insert nuts with an Allen key. It's common in ikea furniture, I can't give a better description.. if anyone out there knows the answer please write!!! tja

IKEA sells spare screws and other parts fairly cheaply at their stores.

Thanks for the answers! I'm going to Ikea in Älmhult to look for screws.. take care

Keep in mind that it should be screws for outdoor use if it is to be placed in outdoor furniture. Stainless steel, brass, galvanized, etc...

I'm taking the opportunity to hijack this thread - does anyone know where to get a sargsprint with a diameter of about 4mm (length doesn't matter - about 10-20 mm) and a corresponding screw about 10 mm in length and 2-3mm in diameter (I don't know which m-number it is). See picture. I need it to attach a soft close to a pair of sliding doors; the person who initially installed it did a lousy job, so the sargsprint disappeared, or maybe they never installed a sargsprint.

I hope that's the right term - sargsprint, that is.
Small metal dowel pin and screw on a textured surface. Close-up of a metal clip or bracket with a notched section, possibly used in sliding door assembly; appears alongside a smooth surface and a wheel. A small metal dowel and screw on a textured surface, likely used for securing soft-close sliding doors, needing replacement due to poor initial installation.

Thanks! I have emailed them. Feels so strange not being able to google this…. All suggestions are gratefully received!

Manufacture one yourself? Find a suitable round rod and drill and thread it?

Hello to those who got involved with tips regarding my thread cutting!

I got tired of searching for the right thing on Google, Sifverts skruv didn't have what I needed, and I don't have the tools to drill holes and thread a suitable round rod (though I love the DIY spirit in the suggestion!).

I eventually went with an M3 nut I found at Clas Ohlson, which with the right angle just fit into the track. I feel a bit like MacGyver’s cousin from the countryside with that solution and I'm totally okay with that, haha!
