Help fence! Enclose 70x70 posts to make them thicker and sturdier?
Hello knowledgeable people!
Planning a new garden. Last spring we had a guy distribute topsoil and gravel and set posts for a fence along our property line facing the street. Since I'm a beginner at this, I didn't think to specify the size of posts we should have. Now when I'm about to build the fence, I realize that I would never have chosen such small post brackets... there will be posts 70x70 everywhere, even where the gate with the rose arch is supposed to be (about 90cm wide). The distance between the posts is 185cm...
Will this work at all? I'm afraid it will look flimsy and not hold up on our very windy property. Aesthetically, I would have preferred wide "visible" posts and a white wooden fence between the posts.
Can you somehow cheat by putting 70x70 in the existing posts and encasing them to make them look thicker and increase stability? Or does it mean replacing all the posts in that case?...

What kind of bases are they?
A picture of the top with the fastener would make it easier to answer.
How high will the fence be?
How dense will the fence be?
Will the gate mostly be closed or open?
We have 70*70 posts with a c/c measurement of 2200 mm, in two places the c/c measurement is 4400, the fence is 900 high and the slats cover 50%. In the section where there are fixed post irons in the bases, the fence stands firmly, whereas where we have adjustable post shoes in the bases (threaded rods), the fence "flexes/flutters" because the threaded rods are bending.

Hello and thank you for the response!
Ordinary plinths with fixed post irons like these:

Between 90-100cm high and about 50% permeable.
The gate will mostly be closed to keep children inside.

Oh, what a smart idea! I haven't thought of that at all! Do you think the stability will be okay?
What's the easiest way for me to do it? I have a miter saw, circular saw, jigsaw, chisel, and hand saw...
