Hanging a crystal chandelier in a concrete ceiling
I have an old, heavy chandelier that I want to hang from the ceiling in my 50s apartment. The ceiling is (probably) made of concrete. What should be used to ensure the most secure mounting possible? I don't want to risk the beauty falling down.
First, make sure it is concrete

I think expansion bolts are unsafe to mount. I prefer nylon plugs (https://www.bauhaus.se/nylonplugg-e...BwE&gbraid=0AAAAADxd_kwcRJ-7A4wqC4ZYB0KMqU3MG) and screw hooks.
Nylon plugs can probably support 10-20 kg with some safety if the concrete is healthy. If the load is greater than that, I would use chemical anchor instead.
It is quite common to have a thick layer of plaster on the concrete. You can hardly hang anything on plaster.
