Buying construction materials abroad

but today you can already achieve a good efficiency with thin-film modules as well

I know a company from China that currently has several containers of polycrystalline solar cells in Bremen.
A guy from Austria bought 10 pcs. He paid about 220 EUR + shipping + VAT for 230 W poly cells. Powerbright Solar.
There are probably better deals if you want to buy a few. Then you have to take a whole container if you buy directly from China.
But there are good deals from German companies or individuals who have built a large system and have panels left if you just want single panels.
yes, one should probably stick to known brands.....
Aleo had some new one in the works... that one could get a lot out of...
supposedly starting to sell it next year... of course, things are getting better all the time
if you no longer get subsidies in Sweden... then you have to find cheap stuff if it's going to be profitable

@ hey
Well, it's the price per Wp that matters.
If you buy a container, you usually pay at least around 0.75 EUR per Wp. 0.85 EUR per Wp is also common if you buy a whole container.
So it's not the price per m² or price per panel that is decisive but the price per W!!
How many W does the panel have that you can buy for 220 EUR + VAT?

As far as I know, the grant for solar collectors will be discontinued next year. I don't know what applies to solar panels. Of course, you have to find cheap items if it's going to be profitable. But as I said, I was talking about surplus items now. It's profitable for individuals to build installations with surplus items...
Then you also need all the other stuff that is needed to build a solar panel installation. Battery, battery charger/controller, inverter, etc. .... and everything should be properly dimensioned!

certainly not entirely easy to assemble everything yourself.Ewald said:As far as I know, the grant for solar collectors will be discontinued next year. I don't know what applies to solar cells. so that it works together... then you need to know a bit... how it works...
maybe easier to hire a company...
Yes, it is as always. You must know exactly what you want to do and know a bit about the matter. Yes, it is price per W that applies. But of course, you should also know which panels you want.
Thin-film cells are said to be better in diffuse light conditions... for example.

I'm bringing some stuff home - from IKEA
Gashäll Dåtid costs 195 euros in France
http://www.ikea.com/fr/fr/catalog/products/20145158/
The same gashäll costs 2795 SEK in Sweden
http://www.ikea.com/se/sv/catalog/products/60145161/
Price difference about 1076 SEK or 39%. It also includes 2 euro "eco-participation" in the French price
It only applies to certain products, presumably because they have local competition affecting their pricing.

Hello,
For a long time, I was considering buying stone from Estonia
and got these prices
Revised prices:
LTH 420 9.00 EUR/piece
LTH 380 8.00 EUR/piece
RUH 420 4.90 EUR/piece
RUH 380 4.60 EUR/piece
RUH 420 corner 5.40 EUR/piece
RUH 380 corner 4.90 EUR/piece
LTH blocks are blocks with insulation in between. Eventually, I decided to buy leca in Sweden as I found a good contact who could give me a good price. I am going ahead with non-insulated blocks that I insulate externally with black cell foam and then putty on this.
Worth noting when buying materials from abroad is that often the dimensions are not the same as here at home. As you can see in the list above, the blocks are 380 or 420 mm.
Here is a list of sellers
Bigger shops and wholesale contact persons lists:
