I have purchased most of it via Bauhof in Tallinn, and then they arrange the shipping via DPD.

Additionally, if you buy in Estonia, you pay 20% Estonian VAT. I also buy building materials in Estonia.

It's been a few years since the last post, is it still cheaper to import building materials? I've checked a few items at Bauhof in Estonia, but there isn't much difference in prices compared to Sweden for the same item. What is cheaper and in which country?

I am also interested in mainly bathroom furniture and a few other things. Looks like the prices are similar.

Sad that it wasn't possible to save money by going there to shop. But another thought I have, don't you have to pay some kind of tax/VAT if you are stopped by customs in Sweden?

Within the EU/EES, you pay VAT in the country where you make the purchase according to that country's current rates. If you haven't paid VAT in the country of origin, you must pay Swedish VAT.
