Hello!
I'm about to put up drywall in a bedroom that's being renovated.
I've looked around a bit at prices for drywall at various companies.

Byggmax definitely has the cheapest option, but does anyone have any experience with the quality of that drywall?

Used it when I built the garage, the only difference I've noticed compared to those that cost twice as much is that the paper is thicker, so the risk of the screw going through the board/paper is less, but if you take it easy when screwing, it's fine.

I've bought a variety of gypsum in different price ranges as I've renovated the house, and I've only found one type that I thought was directly bad. And those were expensive Gyproc boards from my local XL... Now, I don't really think there's anything wrong with Gyproc, but since my local building supplier moves such a bundle of gypsum a year in "self-service," the boards tend to get quite damp when stored in cold storage (the fact that they sell a truckload of gypsum a week in whole bundles to construction sites doesn't help me when I buy 5-10 boards at a time). The advantage with Byggmax and the like is that they only sell "self-service" and therefore turn over the boards quickly so they're always dry and fresh.

Now, I have mostly bought 2700mm long boards, and I believe they are of slightly better type even at Byggmax, Bauhaus, etc. They are at least a notch more expensive than those really cheap boards. But still much cheaper than at XL.

Have bought plenty of plasterboards from Byggmax and haven't experienced any problems at all...

I have bought a lot of gips at Byggmax. Plastered both ceiling and wall. No problems at all.

I recall that they have two, a Swedish one and an EU one. The one called EU is damn hard to screw without it getting messed up. The Swedish one (a bit more expensive) is perfect.

My entire house is plastered with Byggmax gypsum.
The cheap kind.

However, their våtrumsgips is more expensive per m2 than K-rauta for some reason.
