Fibers in plasterboards from byggmax?

I am installing ceiling drywall that I bought from Byggmax. When I cut the panels, I notice that there are small fibers, like glass fibers, in the panels. It then occurred to me that it might be appropriate to use a respirator...? What are the recommendations?

Plaster is usually reinforced either with fiberglass or with paper strips. I don't think you need a protective mask, but it depends on what you are going to do with the plaster. Just cutting, breaking, and screwing can be done without a respirator.
