Ground insulation 45mm

Hi, I was thinking of using ground insulation in an interior wall instead of regular insulation because it's for soundproofing and dampening for a home theater. This is because ground insulation weighs more = better sound dampening.

But I can only find 50mm, is there no 45?

It's for an interior wall with 45 studs

Install battens with, for example, 7 mm plywood.

If it were me, I would buy 70mm battens and saw them to 50mm.

Then there will be a problem with the frame as it is 93mm which 11 mm obs + 13mm plasterboard plus 45mm stud becomes. Initially, we considered using two separate 45 studs with a 10mm air gap for even better sound insulation, but we didn't do that for the same reason.

But continue with salning on the frame as well.
You can put klackfoder on one side so it's less visible.

It slightly ruins the feeling on the profiles, I would say, it's not a modern door leaf or frame.
So it's not possible to get 45mm ground insulation?

edit: it would be to mill your own frame timber with the right depth, but even I think it's starting to be too much work

If you're almost ready to mill your own frame, cut away a bit on the inside to get a sharp edge, glue the trim with a bit of excess, plane off the surplus. It must be easier than making a new frame, looks just as good.

Otherwise, I think it's a bit excessive with the heavier baseboard when you have 4 layers of board in the wall. Use regular insulation and focus more on a good door. It's not a recording studio but a home cinema.
