Good Laminate Flooring VS Parquet

we have underfloor heating, but I can imagine it becomes an issue if you have cold floors to start with....but then you should also consider that it's often not possible to lay parquet flooring with its 14--16--18 mm thickness, on existing floors, as it builds up quite a bit, then it becomes easier with laminate floors at 7--8 mm.

It is also possible to get parquet flooring made of wood that is 7-8 mm. Unfortunately, these cannot be sanded.

Well, that's what I call veneer flooring. Same construction as laminate but with a thin surface layer of veneer and varnish. There are also other variants with printed patterns and then varnish layers.
In those cases, it's the varnish layers that determine the wear resistance and how durable they are.
