Hi,
I have a larger garden house built in the 60s with an extension added sometime after that (the right side in the picture). It's been leaking a bit in the roof and it's generally in poor condition. I want to replace the roof and rip out everything except the framework, (but probably also replace some ends of the roof beams). That is, replace insulation in the floor, walls, and roof + replace parts of the panel and windows. I'm not an experienced builder, so I will need quite a bit of advice on how to do this in the best way. What insulation material is suitable, whether I should have plastic sheeting or not, how thick the material should be, etc. Does anyone have tips on a guide for this online or in a printed book?

It might be a big job for a novice, but on the other hand, it's only a garden house, so a failure isn’t too costly + it feels like an educational project. See pictures below.
Thanks in advance for your response!

If the shed is not heated year-round, you should not use plastic as it is diffusion-tight (does not let moisture through). Instead, use wind barrier paper that breathes between the wall studs and the air gap.
