Hello,

I have a wall that I would like to build as stable as possible. I have read that sometimes you glue and screw the plywood to the studs. But which glue should you use? Regular wood glue probably has too short an open time, right? Will you have time to apply glue to all surfaces, get the panel in place, and screw all the screws before the glue "dries"?

Hello! The wall becomes incredibly stable if you just screw the plywood. I have never experienced gluing plywood to walls, and I have been involved in making large gable walls that function as bracing for very large modular roofs. In those cases, however, there would be 15mm plywood on both the inside and outside of the wall. Is there any specific reason you want it to be so stable? But if you want to glue, you should have time to apply glue to all the studs and then screw the plywood in place before the glue dries, as long as you have cut the board first so you don't have to start with that in the middle of everything.
