Gluing paneling to ceiling without screws :/ ???
Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if there are any tips regarding the art of defying gravity? I'm about to install ceiling panels (MDF boards) but don't want to break the vapor barrier (which happens if I screw, another story), so I need to glue them up.
The only way I know is to prop up with X number of sticks directly against the panel boards, but that results in an endless number of sticks and hassle. I know I can lower it with battens and screw into them, but I want maximum height.
Is there any ingenious technique that makes life easier when things don't want to fall upwards?
Thanks in advance!

To PIR insulation boards, 100mm. The surface layer (aluminum) on the board acts as a vapor barrier. I have suitable adhesive.FredrikR said:

If you think you can screw into the walls, you can set up beams close to the ceiling and let crosswise loose beams rest on these. I put up gypsum boards on the ceiling in the shed like this:K Kojfabriken said:Hello everyone,

The only way I know is to support with several poles directly against the panel boards, but it becomes an endless amount of poles and hassle. I know I can lower with battens and screw into them, but I want maximum height.

You then, of course, have to support the panel boards with a lot of smaller sticks...
Thanks for the tip!
I suspect it's the easiest method.
