Does anyone know if you can buy just doors from Marbodal? In the catalog, it seems to be mostly complete with frames and everything!

Yes, you can buy separate doors from Marbodal, no problem.

Since when did PL400 become water-soluble??!! Wipe off spills with water??!!

On my PL400 tube it says: "Uncured adhesive can be removed with clean gasoline or Xylene"
PL600, on the other hand, is water-soluble.

Hmm... It might have changed in the last year, I haven't bought a tube in a while, but then it worked fine with water and a cloth, I'm doubtful that you have the correct information about PL400.
Edit: now it says, as Raceman writes, that cleaning is done with gasoline and xylt, but having personally used about 40 tubes and wiped off the excess with water and a cloth (before it cured), I wonder what the manufacturer has changed in the last year.

It works to wipe off PL400 mechanically with a cloth before it hardens, I agree with that. But I am doubtful that water would make a difference. Maybe to make the cloth more pliable?

Apologies, I checked again and it was pl600 that was water-soluble and that I used as I expected spillage, I mixed them up. So to TS, my recommendation is pl600, nothing else.
To myself, store the tubes frost-free next time...
