Doesn't the manufacturer of the board have instructions for it?
I don't know if it may vary but Byggmax states that their board should be screwed with drywall screws: https://www.byggmax.se/våtrumsgips-p07001
But nowadays, regular drywall is allowed in bathrooms.

Yes, that's the question because on the GVK site it should be both glued and screwed. It should also be approved by BKR, but there's no information about that on the byggmax website. Maybe you don't need to glue it. It's about the movements of the floor in a humid environment. That's why I'm a bit unsure, as I'm currently in that situation myself and want to do it right.
Are you going to have a wet room mat and/or wallpaper (GVK) or tiles (BKR)?Ahmed A said:

You're writing about the floor now but doesn't it concern the walls?
You also need to read the industry regulations from Säker vatten because I believe they're the ones who specify the approved wall construction.
Which WAB is it about?

It's probably me mixing it up, I apologize, but it's about gypsum board that acts as a reinforced layer over the bathroom floor on the second floor. It's to stabilize the floor so it doesn't flex, hence the gypsum. Actually, my question is which gypsum board is approved for installation on bathroom floors to stabilize the construction? Is there a variant where you only need to screw? This must be done according to GVK if you are going to lay clinker instead of floor mat.BirgitS said:

Thanks!
Floor construction, unfortunately, I don't know much about; I thought it was about walls because that's where OSB is usually used. In floors, you typically have flooring particleboard.
Regarding tiles, it's the industry standards from BKR that are standard.
