The ceiling in our living room has for some reason been lowered to the point where the tiled stove has become too high, so to speak. The previous owner had made a rather rough adjustment of the ceiling around it. Since I've had a tiled stove craftsman here who repaired the connection of the stove and he had to tear down the ceiling around it, I thought I might as well take the opportunity to fix the ceiling around it a bit nicer. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do it? Distance to the tiled stove? How do you fit a molding, is there a molding that can be bent to follow the curve? There are ones in foam plastic but that might not be the most suitable material here ... :wow:

You mean to approach with a little more distance to the tiled stove and then install something more attractive above the stove. Right now, there is an untreated gypsum board above. How close can you go with the wooden ceiling? The tiled stove protrudes a few centimeters above the inner ceiling.
