I am building a garage on a cast slab. The slab itself is essentially level with the highest point of the surrounding ground at one corner. On the slab, there is one course of lecasten, with painted plaster on the outside. The cladding (classic vertical board with cover strips) I plan to attach 50mm below the bottom of the sill. Since the distance from the sill/cladding to the ground will be quite short, I am considering using pressure-treated wood for the bottom nailing batten. I plan to nail this batten at the level of the sill, possibly with some building plastic in between so moisture does not easily migrate into the sill.
The board will be 30 mm outside the plaster. The nail stud is 45x45. Between the baseplate and leca there is baseplate paper that protrudes over the plaster. The construction plastic (blue) I envisioned between the pressure-treated nail stud (green) and the baseplate (yellow). The purpose is solely to isolate the baseplate from the nail stud.
