I'm building a garage and will soon be casting the slab, which will be 9 meters wide and 14.4 meters long 
Since it's a garage, I don't want any poles or similar structures inside.
I've started considering some kind of truss to utilize parts of the loft as storage.
The garage will have 2 doors on the gable that is 9 meters wide, and then there will be 12 trusses with 120 cm centers = 14.4 meters.
Is it just a dream to have self-supporting trusses over such a wide span?

I have 12x12 meters and have trusses in some sense anyway, and have also opened up a truss without a frame so that I can have a car lift. But you might have to account for other trusses at the ends or a bit in and a glulam beam at the ridge. Pure assumptions on my part though. Here with the truss manufacturers, they calculate that for you.
Do you have cc 1200?
Approximately how much width do you have in the attic? Do you have any steel beam or something?

To start with, I have pretty low headroom, I don't know exactly how wide it is, but at least wide enough to easily move things across before being able to stow them in the compartments. For the width, the "walking width" is essentially sufficient.
Yes, cc1200, but it is a hipped roof as well, so it is a bit narrower towards the hips since the distance is not evenly divisible by 1200.

now I am really perplexed, I am in contact with 2 manufacturers,
one says it's fine, 38 degree roof slope, I will get 5.7 meters wide with 2.10 ceiling height on the upper floor (sounds a lot to me) the price for these is about 2500 each including VAT
the other manufacturer (designer) says it won't work with the following response:
"The difference between a truss and a frame is that the truss is statically determined while the frame is statically indeterminate.
This means that each part of a truss is in equilibrium.
If you want a frame, you can get it in laminated wood. No problem. But then the price goes up.
We work with simple, affordable solutions. The first choice is wood."
this sounds very strange to me, could the first one simply have miscalculated so the roof doesn't hold?
and what does statically determined, indeterminate mean?
