I'm planning to frame a new interior wall about 30-40cm away from the existing exterior wall. The reason for this is to create a new wall where I can recess the TV and associated equipment.

A few questions about this:

1. Could there be problems with the space between the new interior wall and the exterior wall? Cold, moisture, or similar issues.
2. I'm planning to frame with 45x75 and only use OSB (no drywall on it). Are there any problems with that?
3. I'm thinking of placing the sole plate directly on the parquet floor and only fastening it with angle brackets to the outer studs that will be properly secured :-). Any problems with that?

Only if you have a window behind the wall...

Wise not to screw into the parquet. The only thing I can imagine is that it will become dusty between the walls.

OSB as a surface layer then? It doesn't look so nice and you can't wallpaper or anything on it.

Hmmm...
Might have to think further about using OSB as a surface. In my innocence, I thought I could prime and wallpaper directly on OSB. I'm not really friends with gypsum as I find it a boring material to work with...

Chipboard can be an option if you plan to wallpaper. It's not completely optimal but 100ggg better than OSB in that case.

S
Wood material is not great to wallpaper on.
If you're really lucky and have a stable indoor climate, you might avoid the wallpaper cracking.

I understand that you don't like gypsum.

But if you are going to mount some wood panel, glue the panels to the stud and then screw.

Problem solved, framed up a new wall and 12mm MDF instead on this. Primed + wallpaper on that = now the TV is built into the wall.

You forgot the pictures :-)

Sorry, I'll fetch some pictures when I get home this weekend

"Promised" some pictures. All power, data, speaker cables etc. connected behind the wall. Break the power to everything from a switch on the wall next to the switch for ceiling lighting etc.
Service hatch under the hole for amplifier etc. There is also a fan behind the TV.
I have also built a larger "frame" outside the existing one where the TV is now. This is so that I can remove the existing TV (60") and fit a 70" if there is a change to a larger TV. I can do this without tearing down the wall. I only need to cut the wallpaper where the joint is between the different frames.
A mounted TV with a black frame on a gray wall, with a rectangular cutout below. A plant and table are on the right side of the image. A photo of a room interior showing a window with plants on the ledge and a section of a gray wall beside it.
