Should you install interior doors with the frame before laying the floor? I haven't quite decided on the flooring yet, but I'm leaning towards 8-10mm laminate.

I'm considering ordering the frames and installing them before laying the floor and setting the frame 10 mm above the floorboards.

Set the frame and cut it with a multi-cutter once you have the floor. A bit annoying if you want to have an 8mm floor that leaves a 2mm gap at the bottom.

No, you lay the floor first with expansion joint where the threshold will be, anything else is to complicate things.....

You mean you lay the floor first a bit into the opening and then cut the floor at the threshold?

Sounds cumbersome though. The nicest way must be if the floor goes under the threshold and that there is an expansion joint under the threshold.

The floor naturally goes under the threshold and the joint is hidden by the threshold. The frame is placed on top of the floor.

In this image, it seems like the frame has been placed on the threshold?

In that case, an oak board has probably been laid to cover a gap between the floors when an existing wider door was replaced, or a new door opening was made.
