I am going to lay tiles on my old basement floor where I have attached Kiilto insulation boards. I am now going to apply primer before installing electric heating cables and floor tiles. On the bottle of the start primer, it says that you must apply self-leveling compound no later than 24 hours after the primer! My question is why it is so important to level so quickly after priming, can you lay the heating cables first and prime over them as well??
