Not a painter, but that looks like it might be possible to smooth out. How thick is it? The texture can probably be mimicked with a roller in the filler. Might be worth a try at least.
(If you've removed a cable that went down in the wall, I would appreciate some sort of measure so the outlet in the ceiling can be found again if something needs to be drawn there. Measure the outlet precisely and place a note in the meter cabinet.)

If I leave cut VP pipes that might be reused, I usually put a magnet at the end of the pipe, then it’s easy to find after you’ve filled over it.Totte_S said:

The VP-rör goes to a ceiling box 150 cm away, but smart thought to mark it 🙏
