The stairs to the entrance have started to crack and need fixing. Does anyone know how to do it? Do you buy ready-made lengths with a stone slab of your choice and put them there? Or do you cut them yourself? I'm not planning to hire a handyman because it's so damn expensive.

  • A snowy stone entrance stairs with visible cracks, a lantern, and a potted plant nearby. A pine branch is lying on the top step.

There are ready-made ones, among others from stenbolaget.se
You can also cast yourself if you wish.

But it must have the exact same measurements as I already have.

Difficult to give good advice with that picture, there are many ways to fix a staircase but you need to understand the conditions. Do you have a picture taken in daylight where you can see the cracks?

what is the staircase made of?
It looks like cast steps with pea gravel.
If there are small damages, you can repair and sprinkle on.
There are also companies that have an epoxy product that creates a new surface layer.
None of them is a solution if it is the construction itself you are worried about.
