Hi,

I recently moved with my partner into a condominium. On one of the walls in a room, there's a big gap between the trim and the ceiling (see image) that I would like to address. However, I would prefer not to replace the entire trim, as it is "integrated" into the closet. Does anyone have a simple and clever idea on how to neatly solve this?

Thanks in advance!

latexfog.

Yep. Latexfog will make it "tight" but there's a big risk that you'll want to paint both the trim and the ceiling afterwards...

Have soon lived in our new build for a year. Friends praise my work with all the cornices, trim, reveals, etc. They have NO IDEA how many tubes of latex are hanging on the walls!

I advocate for an MS-polymer based sealant instead of latex. It handles movement much better, can be painted on, but doesn't look as unsightly as an unpainted latex sealant.

That sounds interesting. Could you link to a product?

I'm writing on my phone now, but google any of these.
Tec7
Casco byggfog

There are many more, but I've used these with good results.

tec7, isn't that silicon mixed with glue?

No, but it resembles silicone when you apply it and when it has hardened. Slightly harder, though. Also, it doesn't mold as easily, doesn't yellow, and you can paint over it.
