Hello

I wonder if anyone has any good ideas on what I can do with this, see picture of my collos. I use the chimney itself and therefore cannot remove it. Just paint it white?
Old chimney with rough concrete wall, wooden beams leaning against it. Gap between chimney and wall, bricks at the base. Renovation in progress.
Old chimney column with peeling paint in a renovation project, blue and beige colors visible, nearby a yellow tool on a stand.
Anyone have a good idea about what I can do with the space between the chimney and the wall, picture
Narrow space between chimney and wooden wall frame, with a snow shovel leaning against the chimney.

What type of room is it in? White is always stylish, maybe some solid wood shelves in that "niche".

I have a similar one in the kitchen, I actually wanted it visible, but it just couldn't be, it was too awful. I framed it with steel studs and plasterboard and faux brick on top of that, it turned out very nice but expensive. I actually have a built-in "spice rack" with the same door as in the rest of the kitchen, in such a niche where I cleaned the real brick that is then visible when you open...

It's a bedroom, about 25-30 sqm. There has been some kind of shelf inside.. but I find it difficult to know.

I meant shelves where the saw is, in the corner where the snow shovel is it's worse, one could make some kind of pull-out wardrobe, with rails like a garage door or an IKEA BILLY on wheels, or whatever fits there since storage space is always useful.

Maybe one of those more or less foldable extra beds could fit in there...

Yes, that could be something. Thanks for the tip!
