Want to fill the space between the stairs and install lighting in the panel so the lighting shines forward.

Do you have any good suggestions on what to use as a "back panel"? I was thinking of using "ordinary" floor planks painted white.

Is there any suitable lighting that one can install themselves, the lighting is meant to be purely decorative. I was thinking of one light source per step.

How do you handle cables, transformers, etc., to make them as inconspicuous as possible?

Grateful for all answers!
