I will try to fill under a decking that is currently on an uneven concrete slab. The decking cannot be dismantled without much hassle. The area is about 2x2 m2 and slopes slightly, 1 cm per meter. The decking is sagging and starting to get damaged/break at the fastening points.
My idea is to pour self-leveling compound in the gaps between the decking boards and thereby fill up between the concrete and the decking boards.
- Any thoughts on how this will work.
- What does flow value mean? It can, for example, be stated that the flow value for a compound is 125-130 mm.
Is it good with a high or low flow value?
The gap sizes vary from 0 to 4-5 mm.
Does anyone think this will work; that enough compound will stay under the decking and that not everything will run out.
Not easy to advise/answer on this vague problem but grateful for any opinions that can be given.
Thanks, Ulf
