Facade drawing for chimney

Hello!
I am going to install a fireplace and in the building application, a facade drawing is required where I also draw to scale how the chimney will protrude from the roof. Is there any other way to measure this than climbing a ladder to the top of the gable? I feel like a complete novice (and I don’t understand why everything always has to be so complicated... 🙄)

Why do you need to measure? The chimney must always extend at least one meter above the roofing and terminate above the ridge?

According to Eldabutiken's expertise, it no longer needs to go above the ridge, the rules have changed.
It was explained by the building committee that there must be a scale drawing to assess if the regulations are followed. A drawing of how the stove will be placed inside and a "control plan" must also be attached. Fortunately, I have now ordered the stove and installation, otherwise I might have given up because it's so complicated.
