I have an asbestos-containing vent channel from the bathroom (where there is a PAX fan today) up to the chimney. I have taken a picture of how it looks from above. I see that the channel is a bit worn on the edge and therefore wonder how big (if any) problem this channel really is considering asbestos? Should I invest in removing the channel completely or is it safe to leave it as it is?
