End-jointed sparse panel worse load-bearing capacity?
There is a big price difference between full-length sparsely paneled 28x70 compared to short-end tongued sparsely paneled 28x70. The question is whether the load-bearing capacity is significantly worse even if I ensure that all joints are placed over alignment boards (28x120) on both sides of the floor joists (75x230)?

Do you have sparse paneling on the floor?
What are you building?
What are you building?
I am installing underfloor heating, which involves spacing panels between the aluminum plates that the PERT tubing is laid in. That is, spaced panels on the floor joists, then a layer of floor gypsum and thereafter 14mm oak parquet. (of course, also plastic and felt paper in the right places, but that doesn't relate to the load-bearing capacity).
I can't see that it would make any significant difference in bearing capacity if you use end-matched sparse paneling. If you position the joints as you write and naturally stagger the joints... But I'm not going to bet my life on my answer... but I would do it that way myself... without even thinking much about the difference in bearing capacity...

I can't see any issues, just make sure the joints end up in different places.
