Ran CC30 with 45X95 :)
Oh dear! ;)

Kidding aside!

The issue with the "Wet Room Wall" and industry regulations regarding wet rooms is that they are designed for new builds.

The advantage is that the bathrooms hold up if built correctly. (Some waterproofing layers are so new that the future will tell).

There are 2 things to look at for walls.
1. Bending stiffness
2. Future fastenings. (Screwing up mixers, mirrors, etc.)

Regarding bending stiffness, 45x45 studs 45 cc are sufficient. But for SAFETY, I recommend 30 cc with 45 studs.

Then 15 mm plywood followed by 1 layer of plasterboard.

The Wet Room Wall is tested and approved. It states 45x70 stud 45 cc.
For other constructions, it is recommended that an expert provides a statement. (= Someone to blame:rofl:)

You should actually hire a designer for every project where the wall deviates in the wrong direction to be on the safe side.

How do I know this?

Since we have been working with this for about 20 years, we chose early to contact a designer when the Wet Room Wall was developed. (I think it was 2014).

The designer is an older gentleman who has now retired. He said this. "Krille, you've built your own scaffolding. The worst I've seen was when you placed a 22x70 board as the ledger. Then there was a pile of roof tiles on the ledger. Remember I told you to switch to a 22x95? Then he laughed."

Then we got into the subject of bathrooms. He wrote a statement that 45x45 45 cc is sufficient. Then he called and said, "Use 30cc if a young inspector comes by."

I want to emphasize that we NEVER take shortcuts with bathrooms. Knock on wood. All bathrooms have held up so far. I absolutely don't want anyone to slack off.
But 45x45 cc 30 is sufficient. But if you have the opportunity, you should definitely use at least 45x70 cc 45.

The higher and denser the dimensions. The more stable the wall.

It should be noted that the Wet Room Wall is not an industry regulation. It's only a tested construction that is approved by all industry organizations involved with bathrooms.
