Need to drill a certain number of holes in our basement wall. The question is, do I need anything special besides a drill? I saw that there are special plugs specifically for this purpose, are they necessary? Thanks for the answers.
Drilling is fine, just remember to turn off the percussion function as otherwise the hole will become wider. This is because the blows easily crush the balls around.
There are plugs available in all possible shapes for leecablock. Be careful not to place it too shallow as it easily causes cracks and it falls out. It's better to buy more expensive and well-known name for plug t Essve so you know it will hold.
There have been some plugs specifically for Leca in recent years, so feel free to ask! Otherwise, a good tip is to first press some PL 400 into the hole and smack in the plug. Possibly wait a couple of hours, then screw it in - that usually does the trick
