Drilled into a wall with plasterboard + OSB
Hello, I've searched but haven't found anything on this specific topic.
I was going to put up a shelf in the hallway and assumed it was just double drywall, but after drilling the first hole for the anchor, I see there's OSB behind the drywall. Which might be good in itself, but it's less good that I've now drilled a 10mm hole.
What should I do now?
1.) Should I move the shelf brackets a few centimeters and fill in the hole I've drilled?
2.) Or should I drill through the OSB board as well and use triple anchors? Or does that sound crazy?
I want to make as little impact on the wall as possible and still have the hat shelf where it should be.
3.) Surely it should hold with regular wood screws when it's double drywall + OSB? The shelf is 120 cm wide, a normal hat shelf.

Screw up the shelf with regular wood screws.
Cheaper, smaller holes the day you need to move it, and guaranteed to hold just as well.
A tip, even if it’s a plaster wall, always try with a screw first before you drill for a molly plug.
It might be that you hit a stud, and then you save yourself some trouble with the molly plug

Put a double expander in the hole, use a wood screw for the rest. If you've only drilled through the plaster, you can indeed put a wood screw there as well, with or without filling depending on whether the console covers the hole.
